Wow. What do I say? Here I am writing about my own yacht! And obviously, I am biased!
Endless Summer II is the charter version of an Irwin 65. For Ted Irwin, I think it was an industry first; to actually design/modify a yacht specifically for the charter market. His design took the Virgin Islands by storm in the early eighties – and no other Mono-hull has come close to matching it since. The first charter version launched in 1981was “Endless Summer I” and Roz and I were Captain and Chef aboard. When the owner decided a year later to buy a second yacht, I went to Florida and sat down with Ted and between us further improved this charter version. The new yacht became “Endless Summer II” and the rest is history. Roz and I bought the yacht a few years later. I have either owned, managed or captained ESII from her conception to present day. For over 25 years, she has been one of the busiest yachts in the Virgins, she’s never missed a charter and still holds her head high in our modern competitive market.
